Auckland Roller Derby is up against Mount Militia Roller Derby on 13 September at Glenfield ActiveZone.
Mount Militia Derby Crew was Auckland Roller Derby’s first ever scrimmage/bout back in 2011. We are looking forward to matching up with these amazing ladies from Mount Maunganui who are currently on a winning streak – come along and see if ARDL can break that streak!
Seating at our Glenfield venue is right next to the track – you’re so close to the action you can smell the sweat!
As this event is being held at a smaller venue there will be limited seating, please feel free to bring a cushion, bean bag or deck chair!

The mighty women in blue are back for their second home game this season. Auckland Roller Derby is up against Dunedin Derby from the south on August 16 in a new venue – the ASB Showgrounds!
After taking on Christchurch and Northland this year and competing in Australia at The Great Southern Slam, Auckland Roller Derby is ready for a new challenge! The ladies from Dunedin have been building up strength since their loss playing Auckland for the first time during the Derby Royale tournament in 2012. This bout will be tough, fast and action-packed – one not to be missed!
Make sure you bring seating (fold out chair, bean bag, cushion etc.), as there is no seating at this venue.

Auckland Roller Derby is back from The Great Southern Slam! We played our hearts out and won our first game against WA Roller Derby 126 -116 and lost our second game against Melbourne Northside Rollers 68 – 270, which meant we were out of the tournament. Thanks to the organisers of TGSS for putting on such a spectacular event!

Auckland Roller Derby is back for our 2014 season harder, stronger and faster than ever, and ready to take on Christchurch’s Dead End Derby in their third annual season opener.
If you’ve never been to a roller derby game before, now’s your chance to come and see the sport for yourself. Since landing in New Zealand in 2006, roller derby has gone from strength to strength.
Auckland Roller Derby’s first match up of the year is against South Island battlers Dead End Derby. Christchurch has taken it’s fair share of knocks over the years, but this hasn’t dampened the skaters’ spirits – after two losses to Auckland last year, Dead End Derby will be coming out strong to prove that the people of their city can rise to any challenge.
Auckland Roller Derby is coming out of a 2013 season packed with excellent game play against national and international teams, ending the season with 2nd place in the finals of New Zealand’s national roller derby tournament, Derby Royale.
With a brand spanking new line up and new rule set, come watch Auckland Roller Derby as you’ve never seen them before.

Auckland roller derby has proved itself to be a force to be reckoned with against New Zealand teams, but recently fell to both Melbourne and Brisbane when they visited from across the ditch. Hungry for a win to finish out the season, Auckland will be bringing their A game against the fearsome women from down the line.
